The system
Transporting unwanted oil/water condensate management from a compressed air filter, dryer, or tank is generally the responsibility of an automatic condensate drain trap. Kaeser’s award winning ECO drains are zero compressed air loss, and can be fitted to any piece of equipment, including intrinsically safe items. Once condensate is removed and transported it should be purified of oil, before entering any city sewer. Kaeser’s Aquamat i.CF oil/water separators manage all of the purity process for you, to ensure that your company meets and exceeds all of the municipal guidelines. The condensate management separator resides, external to the compressed air equipment, as a catch basin prior to any sewer drain.
