90% of the compressed air pipework our mechanical division instals today is Blue Aluminum pipe. The product is powder coated in the universal compressed air colour, straight out of the box for ease of identification in a roof space where the majority of pipes are black or silver. The aluminium is lightweight and adds little, or no additional weight stress on your building's roof load. Aluminium pipe never corrodes internally and provides minimal friction and negligible pressure losses, making it energy efficient. Kaeser’s SmartPipe+ is rated for pressures up to 232 psig, (16 bar) TSSA and CRN approved. With pipe diameter sizes available between ¾” and 8”, this modular easy to install piping system has changed the way that compressed air energy is distributed throughout facilities. For clients leasing their building from a landlord, SmartPipe+ provides a huge benefit should you decide to move to a different building in the future. Simply disassemble all of the piping, relocate it to your new facility and install it again. Nothing is wasted.
