ECO Condensate Drains
Many users of compressed air systems often overlook the importance of condensate drain traps, when trap is arguably the most important part of any clean air treatment product, including filters and dryers. When the drain trap fails the clean air treatment malfunctions, with dramatic consequences. Kaeser’s award winning ECO drain range qualifies for government rebate incentives, due to its energy saving ability. Because the ECO drain operates with a sensor and demand style design, the drain never discharges compressed air under normal circumstances. Compared to a time solenoid drain the ECO drain potentially saves approximately $1,000 per year in hydro energy. The control panel on an ECO drain also provides you with drain operating status, test facility and maintenance alarm warnings. The drain also includes 4/20mA volt free connectivity for remote monitoring.
ECO-DRAIN electronic condensate drains from Kaeser are highly cost-effective and reliable. This is attributable to a control concept that works independently of condensate volume, dirt-resistant valve mechanics and a network-capable alarm contact (from model 31 and higher).
ECO-DRAIN condensate drains are available for compressor flow rates up to 3500 cfm. Kaeser also offers suitable product versions for special applications, such as aggressive condensate, working pressures up to 913 psig, as well as in vacuums or frost regions.
Compressed air oil/water condensate, a byproduct of compressors, contains water, particulates, hydrocarbons, and suspended oils and must be correctly filtered prior to it being sent to a soak away or floor drain. It may be classified as hazardous waste, and proper condensate management systems are necessary to comply with municipal and environmental regulations.

The system
Be sure to invest wisely in the type and style of automatic condensate removal drain you purchase. Zero compressed air, demand style drains are highly recommended for the most energy efficient and effective means of removing condensate. Drains are installed on the bottom of filters, air receiver tanks, drip legs and other condensate removal devices.

How it works
Our tried-and-tested approach to get you a reliable compressed air solution at the lowest possible cost of ownership looks like this:
Discovery call
Our solutions specialist visits your facility to discuss your current situation, pain points, future plans, and potential government incentives. We can undertake as little, or as much, of your project as you would like.
Requirement analysis
We analyze the compressed air equipment at your facility, its performance, condition, control mechanisms, and suitability. We ensure that storage, piping, and compressed air quality are in line with your requirements and best practices.
Turnkey design and installation
Everything we do is “in house.” Compressed air system design, air audits, leak detection, design, build, installation, and air compressor service are handled quickly and efficiently. This approach means that we manage every aspect of your project and create single source supply for you and your organization.
Maintenance and repair
Whether you require emergency breakdown response, predictive, or preventative maintenance our team has you covered. Air end and motor service and rebuilds, piping system, and analysation are also available.
