Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, (HVAC) filtration products are used to improve indoor ambient air quality by removing unwanted airborne particulates, and contaminants. Our range of filters can also combat the elimination of allergens from the ambient air circulated through an HVAC system. Our filters come in various styles, materials of manufacturer and configurations to suit all types of applications.
- Fibreglass Filters are the most basic and affordable entry level product. They consist of layered fibreglass fibres to capture large particulates such as dust. They tend to be less effective at capturing smaller particles and allergens when compared to tighter pleated style filters.
- Pleated Filters offer a much greater surface area than a fibreglass filter, resulting in the capture of more particulates. Manufactured with higher quality polyester or cotton materials to cater for all kinds of filtration levels and efficiencies.
- High Efficiency Particulate Air filters (HEPA) are renowned for capturing submicron particles, including pollen, allergens, bacteria, and other fine airborne particles. Manufactured using densely packed fibres, HEPA filters have the ability to capture particles as small as 0.3 microns with an efficiency of 99.97%.
- Activated Carbon Filters are effective at removing smell and taste, (odours and vapours) from gases, and (VOCs) volatile organic compounds from ambient air. Activated carbon has the ability to absorb unwanted odours and tastes from a multitude of airborne gases, particularly in restaurants, and chemical facilities.
Most filters include a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV). This rating is used to measure and confirm the efficiency of air filters. Filters with higher MERV ratings have the ability to capture smaller particles, but subsequently have a bigger differential pressure drop.
