Booster Compressors
Kaeser offers reciprocating booster compressors to increase air system pressure to as high as 650 PSIG. These reliable units are compact, quiet, and offer an excellent alternative for producing high pressure compressed air. Simply install a Kaeser booster downstream of a standard compressor to efficiently increase the pressure of the general plant compressed air to higher pressures.

The system
Pressure ranges, between 100 psig and 217 psig are available from Kaeser’s standard rotary screw air compressors . When your required working pressure exceeds our standard offering, Kaeser’s booster range is an ideal solution. The booster compressor typically sits downstream of a standard rotary screw machine, and a wet air receiver holding tank. See item number 3 in the attached sketch.

Disposing of the compressed air oil/water condensate bi product, created by your compressor station, carries big legal, and environmental responsibilities. The person knowingly discharging oil to drain, is responsible.
